Managing Director

Jame’s professional career spans 30 years including 15 in government and public policy and 4 in South East Asia. James primary focus has been in healthcare, insurance and economic development. Previous roles have included Managing Deputy Comptroller for the City of Chicago where he oversaw healthcare benefits and the administration of over 35,000 employees and their families. In addition, James was co-author of the Healthcare Study for Retirees in Chicago.

Previously, James was Chairman of the Healthcare Access & Affordability Committee in Ohio, as a state legislator, where he led efforts on healthcare reform and transparency with hospitals, doctors, and patients. Due to his concentrated background in the healthcare sector James was appointed to study and research health populations, costs, and quality across multiple populations of approximately 11 million people.

James was personally responsible for the implementation of wellness programs and supporting technologies in order to improve overall patient care and provide greater efficiency in healthcare systems.

James’s focus in Vietnam includes building relationships with reliable healthcare partners around the world, educating stakeholders, individuals and employers on healthcare quality and wellness, following the latest healthcare innovations, and providing business development advice for healthcare companies entering the South East Asian market.

James is a graduate of Xavier University with a B.A. in Political Science and has also completed studies in International Relations at Oxford University in the UK. James has been a guest speaker at the Cleveland Clinic (USA), Cincinnati Children’s Hospital (USA), National Taiwan University Hospital (Taiwan), and the Robert Woods Johnson Foundation (USA), all of which are well known throughout the globe as quality healthcare providers.

Director - Business Development

Martins 40-year career has spanned the globe and in doing so has exposed him to a diverse range of industry sector, with much of his previous experience focusing on South East Asia and beyond.

Choosing to finish school at a young age Martin worked unskilled jobs in the automotive, agricultural and technology sectors before committing to an apprenticeship in the automotive industry.

The economic boom of the 1980s saw him work his way up through the ranks to becoming a senior manager within the import export sector where he was heavily involved in logistics, warehousing, purchasing and global distribution.

As a result, Martin has amassed a wealth of professional experience and knowledge across Asia and the Pacific.

At a mature age Marty put himself through university and now holds both Under-graduate and Post-graduate Degrees as well as various certificates of acknowledgement including his work on education and training.       

After many years working in various roles, one of Marty’s many challenging roles saw him take the lead in establishing a presence in South East Asia for one of the worlds largest humanitarian organisations resulting in the commencement of much needed humanitarian projects across Asia and the Pacific.

Marty has led teams of business development specialists with a focus on local and international projects which have included telecommunications start-ups in the Philippines, hospitality and residential enclave developments in Vietnam and Malaysia, a significant renewable energy project in northern Africa and various education projects in Vietnam, Cambodia, Australia, Russia and Thailand.
